Your household details

The calculator runs in your browser. We do not send your household entries to a server or save your shopping list. Our hosting provider may process routine request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website.

Cookies and browser storage

We currently use no analytics, advertising scripts or non-essential tracking cookies. We save your cookie preference in local storage under hamsteren-cookie-consent until you clear your browser data or change your choice. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies, or change your choice using Cookie settings on any page. Acceptance does not currently activate any trackers.

Recipe ratings are saved only when you choose to rate a recipe, in local storage under hamsteren-recipe-ratings. They stay on this browser until you clear site data. They are not shared with other visitors.

Amazon and other third parties

As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. Shop links open Amazon UK. Current search links have no affiliate tracking tag. If tagged links are introduced, Amazon may use cookies to attribute qualifying purchases to this website.

Third-party vendors, including Amazon, use cookies and similar technologies to personalise ads and links based on prior visits and to measure advertising. These technologies operate on their services; our cookie preference cannot control cookies on Amazon. Review Amazon's cookie notice and privacy notice, and manage your preferences there.

Recipe submissions

Recipe submissions are sent by email to gurlbossgrapes@gmail.com through your chosen email service. The recipient receives your email address and recipe content. Submissions are reviewed before publication. Include only details you want published, and contact that address to request removal of your submission.

Managing your data

Clear this site's browser data to remove saved preferences and ratings. Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies. For questions about this site's data handling, contact the maintainer through GitHub. You can read the ICO's advice on cookies.
